Liberty a Torino

I have taken and shown many photos of this building on the corner between corso Fiume and via Bicocca in Torino but I love it despite it needs, in my opinion, some maintenance. If you enlarge the photo for sure you will notice that almost each line it's a curve... More to come on same building next days.

You're right, I don't believe there are any truly straight lines anywhere on this building, one of the things I really appreciate about the Liberty/art nouveau style. I also love the nighttime, black and white shot. It is, unfortunately, in need of some repair. I hope something can be done about that soon. It's still beautiful nonetheless.

I was wondering what the building is used for now; it looks like it might be apartments. I also tried to find the architect and couldn't. I don't mean to put you on the spot, but do you know who it is by any chance?

Thank you, Fabrizio, for sharing these little-known architectural gems in Torino.

Yes Ann there are apartments and some offices. Me too I desperately searched the name of the architect but I didn't find it yet. In case I will go there by say and I will ask to some resident. I will publish two photos of this building (front and detail).
