Chiesa della Consolata... If you enlarge the photo you can read just over columns: "Augustae taurinorum Consolatrix et Patrona" it's Latin and it means "Consoler and Patroness of Torino" (Torino was Augustae Taurinorum). Subject of sentence is The Madonna and it's relate at the Colera epidemic tragedy in 1835 when citizen were committed to The Virgin Lady (1841).

Chiesa della Consolata... Ingrandendo la foto si può leggere appena sopra al colonnato: "Augustae taurinorum consolatrix et patrona". It looks to be a massive structure. Beautiful lighting. Is it lighted every night?

Beautiful! And the lighting is so dramatic. Perfect white for the Virgin.

Another of your amazing night shots, Fabrizio. What a gorgeous building and so beautifully lit. Good to see people living their lives too.

Foto meravigliose di una città meravigliosa. Grazie per far vivere un po' di Torino anche a chi, come me, la ama da lontano e sogna un giorno di venirci a vivere.

It's so pristine it almost look surreal. Just a lovely place and your night shots are always just perfect.

Very lovely night shot, and you've captured the building and life in the square so well. I would love to go photowalking at night with you and learn your secrets of exsposure, white balance, and getting wide shots like this to look so natural. I enjoy touring Torino with you!

Looks like it glows from within.

@Kate, yes it is lighted every night all the year [about spam comments Kate you are right but I have to say that I hate to impose people to write Captcha characters. Anyway I'm afraid I will put them quite soon]

Julie, I visited your blog that it's absolutely stunning. Of course I was in run but I promised myself to visit it accurately because you photos are a bit more than simple... Pics. They are scientific witness

Hilda and Babooshka, thank you very much. Hilda I am very very sorry that Mrs. Maria Corazon Aquino passed away. She worked a lot for her country.

Jilly, you are right (they are lucky to live by). At my left there's also the original cafè where they serve "bicerin" ;-) (I will take it next days)

Che dire MattGhm, non molto in verità se non che mi hai sinceramente commosso. Spero davvero che un giorno tu possa coronare il tuo desiderio...

Virginia !!!! I'm Happy to read your comment :-)

Kim, I have no secret. Each photo is taken in raw format so I can easily post produce it. If night light is too dark and lamps are yellow, I manually set white balance at 2700K. Otherwise I turn it manually at home with Capture NX2 (by Nikon). I usually don't like to... "change" too much photos. I love to put in evidenze what the camera took. The tomorrow photo (Ferragosto) it's an exception because that low building wasn't pink but yellowish and the photo was too... Sad :-)
