The fog and the castle

This is the Castello del Valentino (Valentino's Castle) in a cold, foggy morning. Its original roof recall French architecture of XVI century thanks to Madama Cristina di Francia (wife of Vittorio Amedeo I) and Queen herself from 1637 to 1663. She loved this castle and changed its court and façade to the city --- Have a nice weekend !!!

I'm first ( primo???) to say how lovely this is. The fog makes it so very special. when enlarged i saw the nice boats as well. Fabrizio, well done. A nice weekend to you as well.

Nice photograph. I like the effect of the fog. We will soon be getting some fog as our weather is slowly getting warmer.

Anonymous said well but it's not the photo I have in mind thinking to Valetine's day.

I am happy you appreciated this photo I personally love.

Great photo and maybe my favourite monument in Turin. It's a pity you can only go inside on special days as it is used by the architecture department (University of Turin).
