San Carlo Square

This is the left side of San Carlo Square at sunset. I took tons of time this square but it amazes me each time when different lights suggest new different perspectives --- I remember that Piazza San Carlo has been designed by Carlo di Castellamonte that designed also the Royal Palace around 1600.

Your photos make me proud to be 'Torinese'. What a regal and splendid city, shown off at its very best!

Mike, probably this is the most enjoing compliment I have ever had. My purpose when I start this blog went in two directions: let know Torino to foreign people, let appreciate Torino by its inhabitants... So now I can quit, isn't it? :-)

No, Fabrizio, you can't quit!!! We would miss you and your photos too much!

Quit? Fabrizio, of course you cannot! Where else can I see such fabulous photos of Torino??

By all means, take as many photos of Piazza San Carlo as you wish — I will never tire of its beautiful architecture either. The soft evening light in this photo is lovely.

Mike, Saretta, Hilda, I must admit I'm quite tired to look for new corners to take and to publish here almost three times per week but I am also touched by your comments and by comments and emails I weekly receive. Thanks to your encouragements and support I hope to be able to continue for a while.
