La Rampa del Lingotto

This photo shows the ramp to go on the rooftop of Lingotto. Lingotto (bar) was the name of the Fiat's Factory designed by Giacomo Mattè Trucco and built from 1916 to 1922. Over the top there's the test track where they tested cars. Please click --> HERE to see an aerial view of the building and better understand what I mean about the roof top test track. --- If you consider it has been built almost 80 years ago, please notice how light and plenty of light the architecture was.

For a ramp, it's pretty gorgous. Much, much better than those you find in concrete parking buildings nowadays. And the rooftop track is absolutely amazing!

Perhaps this helps explain why Fiat should take over GM.

I would not have believed it if the photo didn't show it. A racetrack on the roof??!! That is so cool. Thanks.
