Like he did last year, Secretary General of the United Nations Mr.
Ban Ki-moon chose
Torino at the end of August to work at U.N. 2009 Agenda. They were at
Royal Palace and if you enlarge the photo you may see lights at first floor. The photo has been taken at sunset.
Come lo scorso anno, il Segretario Generale delle Nazioni Unite
Ban Ki-moon ha scelto
Torino per lavorare all'agenda 2009 dell'ONU. Essi erano a
Palazzo Reale e allargando la foto si possono vedere le luci al primo piano. La fotografia è stata scattata al tramonto.

I love to max the photos because the exquisite beauty of the building's facade. I also enjoy seeing the statues.
What a lovely place to burn the midnight oil!
Impressive!
Hey, come back to TDP !
I didn't mean you to stay at the "Balun" for ages !!!
Now show us what you have done for your aficionados...
He must really like Torino, and I can see why!
That sublte pink colouring is so sweet. We jsut do not have this kind of square in the UK
Love the facade an the colors at sunset are just perfect for it. I always loved those big opne squares in Europe...we dont have many here.
Thank you to each of you for your appreciated words.
Barbara, it's funny that just above you Babooshka said the same about UK (in Europe of course). My very personal opinion is that "squares" are mostly into Greek and latin culture -- ἀγορά = Agora = square... The most important square of the πόλις = polis = city
I'm sure that, once I visit Torino, I'm going to be another Korean who'll adore the city.
@Sunkyoung, Even if I'm personally convinced you're right, I really hope the city won't disappoint you (sometime may happen). Of course, you're officially invited.
@Sunkyoung, I forgot to say that it is a great honour to host Mr. Ban Ki-moon but it isn't less great to host a young lady who loves so much European culture, our art, habit and tradition.
I'm also honoured to be welcomed by you. Good night!
