Che bella via Pietro Micca! Proprio sull'angolo, anche se non si vede tanto, c'è una vecchia insegna dell'Alleanza Coperative Torinese. Ci lavorava mia nonna...
That's an old looking tram - almost as old as some of the ones in Zurich by the look of it. Is the building square, does the camera angle just make the corner look so sharp?
massim., davvero? Oggi (a parte il fatto che l'insegna è ancora la) è la Novacoop e cmq è stata la prima cooperativa di consumo in Italia (leggo su Wikipedia). Grazie a te e atua nonna ho imparato qualcosa
nikon, I'm afraid you're in right about trolley tracks. Here in some city (especially at North are still really popular
slinger, thank you, yes it's a beautiful building. In the centre of the city there are so much building like this
Thank you Chuck, yes you're in right about cars ;-)
richard, the tram is old but as old as the one I have in mind and I'll go to search and to post for you. Anyway yes, this one, look quite old and actually they totally changed colours. The corner is so sharp because *it is* sharp. No the building it isn't square. If you click HERE you can see where I was when I took the photo = at green arrow place (on my right, via Pietro Micca - on my left, via 20 settembre) and the building is that little right-angled triangle. I hope it helps :-)
These flatiron/angle/wedge buildings are fascinating. Awhile back, I did a unit on them in St. Paul. The architecture is not as splendid as yours, but it certainly was fun photographing them. Your photo is wonderful.

Beautiful angle & a beautiful building. I love the trolley tracks in the European citys' streets.
I doubt if there are many left here in the US.
The detail on the building is amazing! Nice capture.
...for once no cars blocking the view. Very nice, F

And that is a great angle. I like that there is a cute tramway popping up there.
Thanks for the map - that shows it very well - it's like a little swiss cheese
