The Monument and the building

This is the monument dedicated to Carlo Alberto di Savoia (King of Sardinia) and realized by Carlo Marocchetti in 1861. The building is the National Museum of Risorgimento (see HERE and, please, scroll down). Both are in Torino in piazza Carlo Alberto. I personally love the monument's shadow on the building.

Another lovely night shot. I would never get tired walking around Torino, but my neck might get stiff from looking up at all the gorgeous architecture!

I agree, another beautiful night shot. Nice composition, too.

This is a wonderful building in appearance and style. Nice photo and narrative.

If you have not seen a tomato horn worm lately, complete with cocoons of predator wasps aboard, then take a look if you have time.
