House Series

Unlike other old houses I posted previously, I like this one because its lines and colours are very simple and clean.

A differenza di altre vecchie dimore mostrate in precedenza, mi piace questa per via delle sue linee e colori semplici e puliti.

You've been posting some delightful architecture, Fabrizio. This house is particularly interesting; the way the windows have been framed, the variety of balconies, the charming color theme. Very well thought out and and finely executed.

Do you know how old this property is?

Enlarging the photo brings out beautiful details. I'm fascinated with the window treatment; that kind of shutter is not standard in our country. It is an attractive and sophisticated building.

Thanks a lot for your greeting on my birthday and even taking some time to look for a Korean phrase.

You said this house is simple but I still see some delicate touch on outlines of some walls.

fénix, I really don't know but I presume it was built around 1940

Oh, painfully elegant.

It does have cleaner lines, but also the irregularities of Art Nouveau style, and some pleasing sculpturistique (that's a new word I just invented) details, I esp. like the eaves of the roof. All these houses seem to be in immaculate condition. Is that all the responsibility of the residents?
