Via Garibaldi
Do you know that Torino is popular for having streets that cross each other at 90 degree (right corner) like NYC ? This is via Garibaldi from Piazza Statuto to Piazza Castello. In the background in fact there's Palazzo Madama and... in the middle: 1 Km of crowd and shops.
-- Oh ! Thir... Ehm.. Many years ago today I've got my High School Degree. Do you remember when did you get your?

What an amazing street! So full of life...full of activity... full of people!
Very nice shot - I like the hanging street lights at the intersections.
What a cool street! Full of activity and life, surrounded by gorgeous countryside. Cheers!
Looks like a very busy street, can t help but notice the beautiful buildings though.
got my highschool diploma 13 years ago :)
I think via Garibaldi more beautiful than streets of New York. In New York you won't see the glimpse of hilly at the end of the road.
Wow! Even more congested than a Paris street ;-) But you are surrounder by beautiful vistas...
The street scene looks very European to me even tough the streets intersect at 90 degree angles. I remember from Brussels one of my first lessons learned was that I would get lost if I tried to drive around the block given there were few 90 degree intersections ... My high school graduation was in 1971 in May however I don't remember the day.
Oh, the high school question - I was thrown out of school :)
A lot of italian's immigrants had built a NY. So maybe some solutions were taken from Torino...;)) who knows??
