Caffè Ristorante Platti

Another historical Cafe in Torino. This is Platti. As you can see it isn't less beautiful than other historical cafe I showed you before. Platti it's also -if not overall- a chocolate producer (in Italy Torino is probably the first city where to taste excellent chocolate). I published some photo in past HERE and HERE where to see Platti's chocolate and Gianduiotti = the typical chocolates of Torino. Next some days some other photo of Platti.

It is a very elegant cafe! The ceiling detail is also quite outstanding.

Seems the elegance of this cafe has scared the men away. Quite an eye bedazzling stop...and it's got chocolate, too! BTW...my 3 yr old daughter's favorite cookies these days are the Italian Quadratinis. Yeah, it makes me smile when she tries to pronounce them.

How absolutely gorgeous. I am determined to plut Torino on my itinerary next time I visit Italy. (Picked up my nrenewed Italian passport today, so I am free to run away any time! Yes, I am an Italiana by marriage)

So, fabrizio, seeing as both Sydney and Torino are sisters of Nagoya, does that make us sisters-in-law, or sisters once removed, or step-sisters or half sisters???

Oh wow, Fabrizio. this place is amazing. Makes me feel I want to put on glad rags and a feather bower. One day...

Beautiful - elegant - so inviting.

And Sally, I feel like you. Torino is on my one-day list too.

I'm getting quite overwhelmed by all these images of Torino cafes - it really evokes "belle epoque" and "dolce vita". I'm assuming all of these are done without flash and the tones/colours are exceptional
