500 Happening encore
I'm sorry to bother you with another photo taken to those little cars that made the history of this country if we talk about transportation. This car literally has been the first car of a whole generation of lucky people (me included) and the first way to move by one's own of another generation of people. In Italy but I should say in Europe (as these photos show looking at their plates) it still represents a life's philosophy, a piece of our history and a very sweet dream . Fiat 500 forever
Fiat 500 forever

I see that the Fiat 500 is more than just a car to the Italians ;-)
Would you compare it to the Volkswagen in the way it provided an affordable transportation for the masses?
I adore those Fiat 500s and now I see there is a new one to replace it. Oh dear....
Oh yes, Isabella, the Fiat 500 means a lot to Italians but then so does every Italian car. You dare to mention a Volkswagen to an Italian! Mamma Mia!
They looked cute ;)
I like to see that street's photo and the Fiat too! What is that beautiful building that we can see on the end of that street?
Fiat 500 is so classy ;)
Ahah Jilly no we are not so nationalist and *yes* Isabella centered the point. Volkswagen (the old beetle 1.2) had same role in Germany and not only.
What makes 500 different is that being so small and so genially simple (two cylinders, cooled by air) was very cute. Guys (me included) were used to work on it and personalize it. A toy that let us to go around and on where to have first experience with girls ;-)
That must have been an amazing site, also an emotional high.
Parole sante! Tanti ringraziamenti anche dalla mia purtroppo ex: "Roma H66777" con la quale ho condiviso 14 anni di vita.
zannnie, I sure you it is.
natkritta, you're in right :-)
Jules, you're abslutely in right !!
Nazzareno, TO655650 & TOB48110... Both white !
Wow, 2 cylinders and we climbed the pre-alps in one with 5 people in the car!
Sonia, that building is a church and its name is Gran Madre. You can also see each time I talked about it on my blog clicking HERE
Your recent coverage of Italian transportation has been interesting and you've no reason to apologize. It's obvious you have a passion for cars and the Fiat 500s seem to have made a hit in Italy. BTW another cool photo.
I really liked this post--you have a lot of passion and feeling for what you photograph and a person can sense that by looking at the photo and the information you include. It's very nice.
I just went to see the Grand Madre Church. The photo is really amazing! Your city has wonderful churches and places! Thanks for sharing the links!
nice car (even if i can't sit inside !!), they talk a lot about the new model (if i'm not wrong) 2 weeks ago in the french newspapers.
