In
Torino there's an area quite wide where cars aren't admitted (except residents) and where houses look like this one... They're a sort of mini castle and, definitely, really glamorous.
A

Very elegant!
Are those private homes or apartments?
Fabrizio - this is quite elegant. Your photograph shows off the architecture well. I, too, am interested to learn whether there are one or more dwellings in the building.
Automobile-free zones would be hard to imagine in the US. There are a few small islands, like Macinac Island in Lake Superior, which prohibit them. Otherwise, we run on and in cars.

That's so civilized - no cars and beautiful homes. What a gorgeous place.
Yes, the first thought that occurred to me was whether they are single residences. Nice shot.
A beautiful home.
How ironic that the city of Fiat bans cars from certain areas :)
Isabella, Strangetastes and Sally: it depends on how big is the house and -maybe- how rich was who built it. Anyway mostly of them are composed by some wide and elegant dwellings.
Nikon, ahah you make me laugh. Yes you're in right but in the city this one it isn't the only area where cars aren't admitted. Some zone in the historical area and Valentino park are first two I have in mind right now :-)
You made a good photograph of this beautiful building. I would like to walk through it and explore all of the rooms and see how people lived there when the house was new. You called it a castle. I like it.
Nice shot! When I first saw this building, I thought the 3 sisters from Charmed(drama) are living there :p
It's definately looking gorgeous.
Beautiful and somehow a mysterious building. the light I think. Love the photograph.
Sepia tone successfully makes the building more elegance. Excellent!!
Breathtaking!!!!!!!!
Architecture and Italy...a very good association is'nt it ?
Result a very nice picture.

Nicely framed and shot - I like the feeling of detail. It looks almost like infra red?
No richard. I took it in daily light, turned in sepia and over lighted :-) -- Thank you to everyone about so nice comments.
This house, whether it is a single dwelling or a place where several families live is beautifully photographed by you. I like the tone of the photo. Wonder what it must be like to live in such a place?!
