Via Garibaldi

This is another shot taken at the bottom of Piazza Statuto at the beginning of via Garibaldi. What I love most and I suggest to take a better look enlarging the photo, are roofs with garrets and those street lamps that are so typical in Torino.

The street lights definitely caught my eye first, but the garrets are fascinating, too. It is wonderful enlarged because the details are then very clear.

Fabrizio. Quegli edifici, dal vivo, mi sembrano meno rosa. E' una tua scelta oppure dipende dalle condizioni di luce dello scatto?
(Oppure mi sbaglio io e sono proprio di quel colore... :) )

The light posts are very nice and I saw them before the pink building almost. I like your work.

Hi Fabrizio Ikol22, Are there lots of poor but wonderful artists living in those garrets? There are lots of mythical tales about such.

What a lovely pink color, perhaps the light on that day?

Very grand and much more so when enlarged. At first the color of the building was what caught my attention however enlarged the you are right the garrets are what impress.

Those must be expensive lofts. I like the architecture. And the street lamps are admirable.

First of all let say "Welcome here" to nayel from Sumatra, then I have to say that the building on the left it isn't "pink" (but it isn't white either), It's a sort of mix more clear during sunset as this photo has been taken. Thank you very much to everybody

Nice shot - Kate was right about the garrets. The ones on the right look as if they have recently renovated (or added) - I like the use of copper. Expensive, but it works and maintains the look as it weathers and gets it's patina

Richard, right garrets aren't new or added but protected with copper (or so...)
