in Corso Francia

Back !!! Unfortunately since Tuesday (15th) I couldn't update my DP due a lack of ADSL connection to the net. Fortunately now, everything seems to work properly.

Another example of Liberty style on which Torino is fortunately rich . I'll publish more photos of this house that I love really so much. It's in Francia boulevard on the corner with via Principi d'Acaja. Pasteled pink with some blue glass.... A jewel.

Rieccomi !!!

Very Art Nouveau. I love all the details, delicate iron work. I hadn't heard of Liberty Style before, looked it up and realized it's the same.

Glad you liked the book link.

I'm glad that you're back! The sky is beautiful in your photo. Ready to hop in bed right now and curl up with a book about Italy.

P.S. Bentornato (ci mancavi!)

The windows and balconies are so attractive in this colored facade. It would be a pleasure to sit and look at this house for a hour or two, as the light of day changes.

Thank you for your comments about graduation ceremonies in the U.S. I think it is useful to have ceremonies such as these, to mark accomplishments, to herald endings and new beginnings. However that particular graduation was marred by very loud acoustics from the podium and noisy air horns from the crowd.

It is a beautiful photograph of a very pretty house. I like this one a lot and your explanation of it is a delight to read.

Thank you too for your visits to my blog.

The vapor trail in the sky above this structure looks like some kind of flourish-- like a banner or something - nice!

Great shot! I like the vapor trail in the sky - it looks like smoke is coming from a fireplace.
