Street Market
I adore street markets. In Italy, in wide cities there is one of them in each neighbourhood. They come daily to sell fresh vegetables and fruit but also cheese and prosciutto or salami. There's an area too where they sell dresses and everything is marketable. In towns, they go once per week.
Adoro i mercati rionali. Nelle grandi città in Italia ve n'è uno in ogni quartiere.

This looks wonderful.. everything so fresh and delicious.
The tomatoes look absolutely delicious. The color is sooo beautiful.
So what did you buy?
Zucchine e peperoni costono più o meno come da noi, ma i tuoi mi sembrano molto (ma molto) più belli dei nostri, sicuramente merito dei bei colori della foto (quel rosso e giallo in primo piano...). Auguri per Pasqua.
Buona Pasqua, Fabrizio!
In 2003 we were in Bologna at Easter, and apart from climbing hundreds of steps to a monastery church, we gorged ourselves on their delicious Majani chocolate!
hummm those tomatoes look delicious. I'm also a big fan of street markets
All those veggies look delicious and very colourful. This photo makes me feel like making a nice big salad!
Ahhh - Italian tomatoes. Real ones not like the supermarket rubbish that's all red and no taste. My favourite, fleshy peretti tomatoes for grilling, roasting and cooking. Thanks for all the food related posts Fabrizio, reminds me why I'm alive!
Those tomatos were coming from Pachino (in the Syracuse Province - Sicily) and yes i gree with everyone: they are superb !!!
this kind of tomatos are my favorite:)
Mmmmmmm!
Love this street market scene, and loved yesterday's prosciutto too!
Cherry tomatoes look divine...
