Corso Unità d'Italia
Translated it means "Unity of Italy" because along this "Corso" (boulevard in French and in English) in 1961 there was the International Expo of the first century since Unity of the country. Unfortunately it's only in Italian but it's very interesting to see images 46 years old clicking HERE (click on "immagini" or "video"). Next appointment will be the International Expo in 2011 where you all will be very welcomed here. -- On the right it's possible to see Palavela where there was Figure Skating in last Olympic Winter Games.

Amazing old photos, Fabrizio - they look older than 1961!
Very nice photograph, Fabrizio.

Looks nice. It's so clean looking. Some of our highways don't look that clean.
I love old photographs -- love imaging times past. Thanks for the link.
Boulevards make utilitarian objects like roads look almost attractive. Good shot and informative links.
That's obviously a "roman" road - straight as a die as far as you can see
Nikon I agree. Me too when I watched those photos I had same feeling :-)
