Corso Stati Uniti

Oh well "Stati Uniti" simply is "United States". In the background there's the hill that along all river Po "stare" at the city and it's possble to see it almost everywhere in Torino

Da corso Stati Uniti è possibile vedere bene a collina che si staglia sullo fondo. In pratica da ogni punto della città è possibile vederla.

That is a beautiful photo. The street is so flat and straight.

I would love to go up the hill to see the vista of Torino.

That looks like another Roman road, And I tell you what, if it is a Roman road, when it hits that hill it will go straight over it. Never follow a Roman road on a bicycle just because it looks nice and straight on the map.

(Apologies for all this talk of Rome on your Torino site, Fabrizio)

A great shot - I never did get to Torino - I hope that I get a chance to get back to Italy & pay you a visit :)

Looks like a dangerous vantage point but I assume you are on a crossing island.

Love the photo and the way the eye is drawn to the distance. I laughed at Gerald's comment wondering where you were standing and at Richard's Rome comment.

I have a friend who has recently moved to your beautiful city. One day,one day I'll get to visit I hope. Your blog really brings it alive for me.

This is a very nice photograph--so clean and crisp. I like it. It looks like you had a very nice day with sunshine. It poured rain yesterday and I took some photos through the windshield experimenting.

Ming, I published some photo from the hill. HERE and HERE you can have an idea, then, in future, I'll post more :-)

Richard, you don't have to apologize at all. Torino born from a Romanic camp !!!

Nikon and Jilly, you are more than welcome and I'd be happy to take you around here !

Gerald, no I was just in the middle of the road but -as you can see- there wasn't so much traffic

Uhm Sally :-) you make me laugh. No, I didn't plan to flatten down yet. LoL

E' vero. Anche dalla mia casetta di Regio Parco se ne vede un pezzetto...
