This is main entrance of Royal Theatre. It was opened, the first time, in 1740 but unfortunately fire destroyed it in 1936. This new one was opened in 1973 with Vespri Siciliani (by Giuseppe Verdi) directed by Maria Callas and Giuseppe Di Stefano. Originally the theatre was connected to Royal Palace. Questo è l'ingresso principale del Teatro Regio. Venne inaugurato, la prima volta, nel 1740 ma sfortunatamente un incendio lo distrusse nel 1936. Il nuovo teatro venne aperto nel 1973 con l'opera i Vespri Siciliani (di Giuseppe Verdi) diretta da Maria Callas e Giuseppe Di Stefano. Originariamente il teatro era collegato al Palazzo Reale.
