Castello del Valentino

I showed many time the Castle of Valentino (= the name of the park into which there's the building). It had been built as we see it now, around 1630 on a procject of Carlo and Amedeo di Castellamonte. Many details on on Wikipedia HERE and my previous photos of it HERE

  2. The uniformity of the windows, arches, and details give this an array of interesting patterns.

  3. Fabrizio,
I appreciated your warm remarks regarding our newly elected president on my blog. We are most grateful for the outpouring of support for him. Maybe there can be peace around our world!

  4. Fabrizio, great photos as always. Also, in Piazza San Carlo, where there is a tourist information point (near caffè Caval 'd Bruns) you can collect a free DVD promoting Torino. It only lasts about 6 or 7 minutes and it presents the city in a wonderful light. Well worth it.

  6. @Mike, thank you about your suggestion. I will ask for it !
