Palazzo Madama e Filippo Juvarra

Filippo Juvarra was born in Messina in 1678. He was one of most important Baroque Architect. When Maria Giovanna Battista di Savoia-Nemours asked him to modify the medieval castle into a brighting building, he designed what now we call "Palazzo Madama". -- This tribute to Filippo Juvarra is also a tribute to Messina and those people so badly damaged today by weather and *unqualified* way with whom politicians managed regional territory.

  5. Well thank you. Yes, I admit that to come to Torino just to visit *only* Palazzo Madama it's a good reason to afford the trip.
