Palazzo Madama - Inside
I showed many times the wonderful Palazzo Madama (and Wiki HERE) but I never said it was built as we see it on project by Filippo Juvarra in 1721. The building anyway was built the first time around 1280. This stairs (just behind the façade) of Juvarra is so light and magnificent that let you imagine how the whole building is inside. I hope to have chance to take it better inside in future.
What beauty and grandeur! Why don't they build like that anymore ;-)
ReplyDeleteNo wonder it reminded me of some Parisian palaces (Palais du Luxembourg being one) - according to the link you provided, the French took over the Madama a couple of times through the years and added their "own touches"...
Lol isabella :-)
ReplyDeleteInside that building is just awesome. It's so grand!
