Late post today (I'm sorry). I took this shot last Sunday at mall where a young lady wasn't sure which kind of jam to buy. So the question are: Do you like jam? If yes, which one?
Post in ritardo oggi (me ne scuso). Scattai questa fotografia la scorsa domenica i al supermercato dove una giovane signora era indecisa su quale marmellata acquistare. Sicché le domande sono: Vi piace la marmellata? Se sì, quale?
Oooooh! Look at all those jams! That's my kind of store (can you tell I really like jam or, as I prefer to call it, marmalade?).
ReplyDeleteSo, which one, huh? Let's see... Sorry, can't decide. If I were that lady I'd take at least one jar each of: strawberry, strawberry and rhubarb, wild blueberry, plum, peach.
But if I had to choose only one, it'd be... Strawberry with lots of berries in it.
Yours truly, the Jam Monstah :)
Oh my. I love jam. My mother used to make the best -- back during World War II. Of her jam I would pick peach or strawberry.
ReplyDeleteWhen you buy jam at the store I would pick current jelly.

I'm not a big fan of jam for some reason - I like grape jelly (with peanut butter, of course) so I'd probably like grape jam.
ReplyDeleteHomemade orange marmalade for me - that way I can control the amount of sugar.
ReplyDeleteWhat about you, Fabrizio?
Blackberry...definately blackberry.
ReplyDeleteQuella di arance ma solo in vacanza!
ReplyDeleteI love jam...Most blackberry and strawberry....
ReplyDeleteI am partial to strawberry jam and orange marmalade. Lemon curd would make a three-way tie but I'm not sure it's in the jam category. I do love to look at all the specialty jams and jellies.
ReplyDeleteI love the blackberries jam that my mother-in-law makes every year. We would go to the countryside and pick wild blackberries - they are so delicious and fragrant. I love also the raspberries jam that my mother-in-law's mother makes. Home made jams are so delicious and flavourful.
ReplyDeleteJust to be difficult, I actually prefer honey to anything else. But if it's jam - goodness, so many - apricot, blackcurrant and mandarin (there's a great mandarin jam you can get in Menton with very little sugar, so it tastes of mandarins and not sugar!)
ReplyDeleteEhm ehm I must admit I don't like jam :-( ... Any.
ReplyDeleteNo jam for you? What about stuff like marmalade (in the English way)? I like dark jams with chunks of fruit, like brombeer or blackberry.
ReplyDeletestrawberry for me - but 5 euros a jar seems expensive.
