This is via Po and lights with sky in background are on same wavelength with lights that lit up all the buildings and the street lamps that lit up arcades and porticos...
Just a relax at Park of Valentino catching last sun. Actually it's quite cold at evening but nice along the day. Wonderful Autumn !
Bell'Autunno !
The moon there into the sky and the coloured street lamps here, down in this baroque square born in the XVII century and originally called Piazza Reale (Royal Square). It was realized by Carlo di Castellamonte in his works to make Torino the worthy first Capital of Kingdom of Italy. --- Happy week end to everyone !!!

Municipality renewed Piazza IV Marzo that yesterday night, after rain, looked as you see: calm, quiet, with a Trattoria (regional, typical restaurant) on the right and... Blue. So, am I right when I say that Torinois Blue?
Fortunately also this year Torino is lit up with Luci d'Artista = Contemporary Arts Torino Piemonte. It started November the 4th and will be lit up until 2009 January the 11th -- Since now I will publish two or three photos per subject each week (maybe alternatively). I hope you will like them.

I showed many time the Castle of Valentino (= the name of the park into which there's the building). It had been built as we see it now, around 1630 on a procject of Carlo and Amedeo di Castellamonte. Many details on on Wikipedia HERE and my previous photos of it HERE
Like each Autumn: Truffles !!! (Who don't know what truffle is please click HERE). Here they were sold by Eataly at current price (yes you are reading correctly): € 650 / etto. It means 650 Euro per 100 grams = 3.5 Ounce. It's a bit "expensive" and more than black truffle but we are talking about the WHITE one, the most estimated.
Come ogni Autunno: i Tartufi !!!
Norberto Bobbio was a philosopher and probably the most influential cultural figures of the twentieth century in Italy. In this book 22 differents author discuss on him. Giuseppe Culicchia is a young interesting author. "Torino è casa mia" it's a his personal way to introduce the city.

I published before some photo took at Borgo Medievale (Medieval Village). By the way it's much more "younger" than medieval age. It has been built in 1884 in fact for the Italian International Expo. This photo has been taken from the other side of river (at feet of hill) and it was lit up in this way during last Olympic Winter Games. Please click --->HERE<--- and then click on the thumbnail you prefer. Then wait the complete automatic loop. You will see all colours changement !!!
Torino Exhibitions where was born many years ago the Torino International Auto Show. It's actually used for several exhibitions and lately during the Olympic Games (hockey). It was designed (1949) by Pier Luigi Nervi, a great architect. Of course this photo doesn't reveal anything about the building (that is very beautiful inside) but I loved some contrast typical of Urban Life.
I took this photo ssame day I took the first one (HERE). In this really lovely Autumn or Fall it's nice to sit at Park (this one is Valentino) and let time goes by.
