Galleria Umberto I

Built around 1890 by Lorenzo Rivetti, "Galleria Umberto I" was born where once there was Mauriziano's Hospital. Of course it comes out, another time, the Liberty style.

Costruita attorno al 1890 dall'architetto Lorenzo Rivetti la "Galleria Umberto I" nacque ove sorse la prima sede dell'Ospedale Mauriziano. Naturalmente spicca, ancora una volta, lo stile Liberty.

  1. Unique perspective and a very nice photo. You were either laying on your stomach or you used some kind of remote device to trigger the camera.

    Very effective and dramatic photo!

  4. So... were you lying on your stomach at 6:00 in the morning? ;-) Great shot, I wish I could go for a stroll (as soon as the shops are open!)

@Cieldequimper, 6:00 in the morning? For sure no (too lazy to get up so early in the morning when I don't have to go to work)

@Hilda, you are right and the gallery has been completely restored last 2006
