In a cold saturday people are crowding via Garibaldi maybe looking for Christmas gifts under a bright tale...
In un freddo sabato le gente affolla via Garibaldi forse cercando regali di Natale sotto una favola luminosa...

The words/tale in lights are a marvelous idea! "...il bosco silenzioso": the silent forest?
ReplyDeleteOh oh oh... those words! Magical. I love this so much!
ReplyDeleteWish I could read the bright words. It's such a festive scene you have painted for us.

Lovely scene, Fabrizio. I'm always amazed at how crowded Italian city centers are on Saturdays in particular. Everybody is out. We had a similar scene in downtown Seattle last night. Come visit and have a look. Ciao!
ReplyDeleteLe frasi illuminate sono bellissime, Fabrizio, la maera di gente un po' meno! Sembra peggio di Londra!!! Cari saluti. Antonella
ReplyDeleteUmbelievable !
ReplyDeleteIncredibile !
Incroyable !
So many people ! Really ???
nice street shot!
ReplyDeletei would hate zooming along in that crowd, hah. are the banners the lyrics to a christmas song? shari
ReplyDeleteI think that this is the first time I've seen so many people in one of your photos! Wow. I do love the colorful lighted words though. Are they lines from a poem?
ReplyDeleteIs it true Fabrizio that Via Garibaldi is the longest uninterupted shopping street in Europe? I read it on a website. Beautiful shot, really captures the Italians shopping and / or 'faccendo una passegiata'! Then they will go and have a nice merenda at one of Turin's famous caffes.
ReplyDelete@USelaine, yes: the silent wood...
ReplyDelete@Lunarossa, beh la marea è anche effetto del teleobiettivo però sì, la gente, in questi giorni, è davvero troppa
@Shari, no each strip is a tale sentence. A tale long as via Garibaldi is (a lot).
@Hilda, about people you are definitely right. As just said to Shari above: no it's a tale :-)
@Mike, more than shopping street, via Garibaldi, is actually considered the longest pedestrian street in Europe (963m) [Wikipedia]
@Laurie, Virginia, Chuck, BlueChic, thank you very much about for visiting and commenting. I usually appreciate so much your opinions on my job
