Goodmorning Tibet
Just today I stopped by the Olympic Pedestrian Bridge because I saw these Tibet Demonstrators under pouring rain. From Torino Olympic Motto: Passion Lives Here (see yesterday) they changed it in Repression Lives Here over 5 bloodstained olympics rings...
Your post speaks volumes about the sentiment regarding the summer Olympics in China. Good selection!
ReplyDeleteIts better to come to China to know what happened in real.
ReplyDeleteKarola and Pamp are pro Tibet as well!!!!
ReplyDeleteBTW, this bridge is just great.
Grits from Wroclaw
I always cheer for the little guy so I have to cheer for Tibet. Chine is getting too powerful for my taste and I sometimes wish China was still isolated from the rest of the world.
ReplyDeleteHi Fabrizio. The Olympic torch arrives here next week. Of course there will be demonstrations. Worringly, the Chinese embassy is helping mobilise many of the thousands of Chinese students here in support.
ReplyDeleteOur new Prime Minister speaks Mandarin fluently, and recently was in Beijing. He addressed an audience sayign in no uncertain terms that China has to attend to human rights.
Oh, and I voted in the Italian elections. Turns out the will of the people didn;t match mine this time ;-)
Sydney Daily Photo Turns 2 today!
A nice piece of journalism, Fabrizio.
ReplyDeleteI have a friend in China & we find it best not to bring the subject of the Olympics up :-)
