Luci d'Artista 2a- Piazza Vittorio Veneto

Piazza Vittorio, Nicola De Maria: Kingdom of flowers. This is the first part of his project: all lamposts of porticos -in the square- have been coloured. More to come !!!!

  2. And it renders very well. It's those colors playing with the shadow from the portico and the vintage pictures in the background that makes this photo pop. I especially like how the picture on the right has a few touches of colors that echoes the lanterns. Beautifully done.

  3. Like Kate, I like the peak at the background murals. The lights are gorgeous and just the right intensity. Nice composition with the arches - I like it all :)

    Those lanterns seem so simplistic - different color panels - yet the effect is startling! You, Italians, are so crafty ;-)

    I wanted to tell you that my grandparents were from Petrano, L'Aquila in Abruzzo. We were there about 10 years ago and really want to come back to Italia. I would love to eventually make it to Torino, too.
