Oh, Fabrizio, this is lovely! I like the peek at the background murals, the coloured lights and the two arches.
ReplyDeleteAnd it renders very well. It's those colors playing with the shadow from the portico and the vintage pictures in the background that makes this photo pop. I especially like how the picture on the right has a few touches of colors that echoes the lanterns. Beautifully done.
ReplyDeleteThe contrasting images are lovely.
ReplyDeleteLike Kate, I like the peak at the background murals. The lights are gorgeous and just the right intensity. Nice composition with the arches - I like it all :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for your visit - the artist of the painting is, Jac Martin-Ferrieres (1893-1974).
great color composition!!!
ReplyDeleteLove the light and color. Great shot, as is your previous one.
ReplyDeleteI like the way the color comes out from behind the darkness...very beautiful
ReplyDeleteVery nice colors in thos lamps and the arches are really nice.
ReplyDeleteYou framed it so nicely!
ReplyDeleteThose lanterns seem so simplistic - different color panels - yet the effect is startling! You, Italians, are so crafty ;-)
I like the way you choose the subject for your shots =) and this photo is just another sample of your perfect taste ;)
ReplyDeleteThis is a very lovely shot, Fabrizio!
ReplyDeleteI wanted to tell you that my grandparents were from Petrano, L'Aquila in Abruzzo. We were there about 10 years ago and really want to come back to Italia. I would love to eventually make it to Torino, too.
The photo captures your attention as soon as it opens - the B+W picture forms a contrast and focus
ReplyDeleteYou become a very good photographer...Framing, light, composing....Perfect !
