Arco del Valentino
Though it's simply called "Arco del Valentino" because at the entrance to Valentino's park (at the Corso Vittorio Emanuele II side), this is the Monument to Artillery Force by Pietro Canonica (1930).
Sebbene venga semplicemente chiamato l'Arco del Valentino perché all'ingresso del Parco del Valentino dalla parte di corso Vittorio Emanuele II, questo è il Monumento all'Arma di Artiglieria di Pietro Canonica (1930).
I can see all the artillery on the side of the arch, indeed. Your city does a wonderful job at highlighting its landmark at night.
ReplyDeleteI like the angle of this shot - the composition.
ReplyDeleteThe street lights (to the left) are coming straight at you in a line but the monument is canted; not facing dead-center. Very nice lighting, as usual!!
Lovely Arch and so great photo. All lamps in Torino are white or you just get this white colour on your photos??
ReplyDeleteSo glad you could capture this beauty! Great photo!
ReplyDeletewonderful capture and light
ReplyDeleteThe monuments of night are perfect
ReplyDeleteThis photo is quite beautiful. You captured both the light and dark perfectly.
