Caffé Mulassano

Built around 1870 in pure style Art Nouveau (also known as Liberty) and opened in 1907, Mulassano is more than a little Cafè. It's a sort of jewel with really few tables (three inside and four outside in Spring and Summer). Mirrors and worked wood as walls and ceiling, Mulassano invented a sort of sandwich called "tramezzino" (sandwich loaf and cocktail of ingredients) that's another jewel: absolutely to taste in more than one of its 40 different kind of tramezzini. -- Tomorrow I'll show how it looks inside.

As Meg in Nelson asked: in Italian now.

  1. You are absolutely right - it is a jewel! The whole cafe should be in a museum ;-)
But how can it stay in business with so few tables?
