In the Roman map of Torino the door called "Palatina" was one of principal entries in the city. There were four passages: two central for waggons and two others for pedestrians, all protected by shutters.
Secondo la pianta Romana di Torino, la Porta Palatina era una degli ingressi principali in città . C'erano quattro passaggi: due centrali per i carri e due aoltri per i pedonti, tutti coperti da serrande.
