Il Duomo

This is The Torino Cathedral taken in foggy early morning. In its crypt there is what people call "The Holy Shroud" (I'll post soon a photo of it). HERE you can find more detail about it.

Questo è il Duomo di Torino fotografato di prima mattina con la nebbia. Nella sua cripta è conservata la Sacra Sindone (inserirò presto una sua foto). QUI è possibile avere maggiori dettagli che la concernono.

  1. Super atmosphere you've captured here and what an interesting looking lamp standard.

  2. Yes, it looks very mysterious in the fog.
When we visited Turin we thought we could just pop in and see the shroud. How naive!

  3. Thank you Gerald (I also love your pics I saw on your website) - Angela, sorry if I'm smiling but yes, it's not so easy to see the shroud eheh. Unfortunately you have to wait 'til next exposition.
