Palazzo Madama it is located in Piazza Castello (last year during Winter Olympic Games called: Medals Plaza). It is the central point of Torino's history. At really beginning it was a Roman Gate, then a fortalice, a castle and when it becomes residence of Royal princess the name was turned in Madama. During Olympic games it was permanent office of C.I.O. -- Actually it's Civic Museum of Torino Ancient Art and it deserves a trip. Please click HERE for more details in the new site.

Nasce come Porta Romana, diventa fortezza, castello e quando diviene residenza delle madame Reali il nome venne modificato in Palazzo Madama.
