Salone del Gusto 2012

Torino Daily Photo is back. Torino: international Capital of the Taste. The Ninth Salone del Gusto (<--- Link in English), held every two years in Torino is a melting pot of different foods and people. Some numbers of this edition: 1000 Exhibitors coming from all over the world (100 different countries), 200 Slow Food Presidia, 400 Terra Madre Food Communities, 128 Taste Workshops, 16 Theatre of Taste. Much more to come ! --- I am sorry if I missed some day to this appointment but I had to fix my screen.

Torino, Capitale Internazionale del Gusto. Il Salone del Gusto (<--- Link), che si tiene ogni due anni a Torino è alla sua nona edizione ed è un felice miscuglio di genti, razze, profumi, sapori e gusti diversi. Qualche numero di questa edizione: 1000 Esibitori provenienti da 100 Paesi, 200 Presidi Slow Food, 400 Comunità del cibo, 128 laboratori del gusto, 16 Teatri del gusto. Molto altro a venire ! --- Mi scuso per qualche giorno di inattività dovuto a un problema del mio schermo.

SIGIL(LUM) UNIVERS(ITATIS) AUGUSTAE TAURINORUM

Torino, photo of the main hall inside the Campus Einaudi. Two kids, future uni-students, are playing on the logo. They ignore that this logo comes on since 1615 and "Sigil(lum) Univers(itatis) Augustae Taurinorum", from Latin, means in fact: "Seal of the University of Torino".
