Theme Day: Cobblestones

Cobblestones in Italy are typical in the historic cities and in the small Roman villages. In Torino quite all the centre of the city is plenty of cobblestones. Senato Subalpino

Torino, Palazzo Madama, the last photo of the first Italian Senate (called Subalpino). After the celebrations about the Unification of Italy, it will be… disassembled. It's a deep pity.

Sinagoga

The photo shows a detail about the Synagogue of Torino. This one has been built in 1884 by Enrico Petiti. Even if able to host 1400 people, the first and most important Synagogue in Torino was commissioned to Alessandro Antonelli and he began to build a strange enormous building… Jewish Community refused it and it was bought by the Torino Municipality. It became the Torino symbol: the Mole Antonelliana :-)

La foto mostra un dettaglio della Sinagoga di Torino. Questa è stata realizzata da Enrico Petiti e sebbene capace di ospitare sino a 1400 persone, la prima e più importante Sinagoga a Torino venne commissionata ad Alessandro Antonelli che inizio a costruire un edificio enorme… La Comunità Ebraica la rifiutò e venne acquisita dal Comune di Torino divenendone il simbolo: la Mole Antonelliana.

Torino, Piazza Vittorio the photo shows a lady that was promoting something concerned Chocolate. Plain chocolate or dark chocolate or black chocolate it's the best kind of chocolate from where get the best taste. Not less than 35% of cocoa and not less than 18% of cocoa butter but unfortunately European rules work against Italy because they don't want we write on labels "pure chocolate" as it is, because Italy DOESN'T USE vegetable fat and / or hydrogenated fats. So, we cannot label more "pure chocolate" BUT remember pure chocolate, in Europe, is ONLY Made in Italy. Don't forget it.

CioccolaTò - The King

Chocolate = Cioccolato + Torino makes CioccolaTò - site. Torino it's not only the first Capital of Italy but also, out of doubt, the Capital of chocolate :-) - CioccolaTò it's the annual event to celebrate chocolate and Peyrano (see the photo) is the oldest producer in the city (1914 - 1920). Peyrano - site it's a sort of legend in town and we go proud of them.

Cioccolato + Torino = CioccolaTò - sito. Torino non è solo la prima Capitale d'Itaia ma anche l'indiscussa Capitale del cioccolato :-) - CioccolaTò è l'evento annuale volto a celebrare il cioccolato e Peyrano (cfr. foto) è il più antico produttore cittadino (1914 caramelle - 1920 cioccolato). Peyrano - sito è una sorta di leggenda in città e ne andiamo fieri.
