Passageway

Today is the first of the month and the theme day in CityDailyPhoto Community is: Passageway. Well this is a passageway from Royal Palace to the Cathedral of Torino. Honestly I took this photo three years ago but I never stop to love it --- Also check what the other City Daily Photo bloggers have come up with for today's theme day.

That hallway is so stark and pristine. The curvy lines of the lights are a great contrast to the straight tiles. Gorgeous photo.

Fabrizio, I am so impressed with your perfect alignment of those lamps with the window beyond, and the perfect symmetry you've captured in this gorgeous, gorgeous passageway. Having the person in motion in the shot makes it absolutely perfect. Big compliments on your beautiful theme photo!

Great photo and wonderful choice. If it were not such a regal place, would imaging that this scene could be used for an advertisement for a cleaning product.

It is simple, and soooooo elegant!
Beautiful architecture, colors, light and lamp.
I also think the person ad something extra to your photograph.

You are spoiled for choice in Turin. This is stunningly beautiful. The shot is wonderful and absolutely 'made' by the person with the dog. Love it! A symphony in white and black.

I like this very much, Fabrizio. Indeed, you have the lamp aligned perfectly with the centre of the far doorway, but you make it more complex by allowing the man to amble down the left hand side. I do love his hands behind his back. The palette is very beautiful. Black and white (not mono in this case) is so elegant!
