S. Cristina e S. Carlo

I took many time these two Churches. The first one is called: Santa Cristina's Church and the second: San Carlo's Church (that gives the name to the square: Piazza San Carlo). Carlo di Castellamonte (same architect that built the Royal Palace) designed both Churches but their façades had been realized by Filippo Juvarra.

Wonderful buildings especially when enlarged. I would love to see them in person someday.
Thanks for sharing.

Great shot!
years ago I tried to do something similiar to this... but from a more "central" perspective you could spot the Alps on the background (on sunny and clear days...)
Fabrizio, think about it! :)

Well James, I Really wish you will come here one day
RobAlferi, *I know* but unfortunately each time I saw alps in the straight down in via Giolitti and more... I didn't have my camera :-( but someday I will catch them for sure :-)
Grazie elettra, e dici nulla. Un monumento al Liberty senza paragoni. Grazie per la tua visita !
