September theme day: Sister Cities

Thank you to Jackie from Glasgow Daily Photo, I'm proud to show you Glasgow, Scotland (land I really love). This photo has been taken from The Lighthouse which is Scotland's Centre for Architecture, Design and the city. Then Torino is also the World Design Capital 2008, so this photo and The Lighthouse match perfectly.

Well thanks for the link ;)

I had no idea Torino was World Design Capital this year - what a fantastic coincidence! That made me smile!

Enjoy the Theme Day (and for those of you who are missing your Torino picture today, get on over to my blog in about an hour's time from this post!).

I visit both of your blogs often and did not know you were twinned. Fascinating, and a wonderful overview of Glascow.

That's a great view of your Sister City. I didn't know they would have rooftop gardens in Scotland.

What I find interesting about this theme day is the cooperation between bloggers for sharing photos, truly bonds of friendship!

Interesting sisters. I wonder what instigated the relationship.

It has been so fun to see which cities are twinned (a word I learned from Gerald). I too love Scotland. Great choice.

Clever the way twins or sister city bloggers are sharing their photos with their siblings. Amazing just how many links there are to some cities.
