4 Seasons
Fours seasons in Piemonte. From down right: Spring - Boiled Egg with fondue and sparrow-grass # Summer: Flan of basil with tomato cream and mozzarella cheese # Fall: Small fillet of deer with polenta at chestnut # Winter: ...Bagna Caoda... That is pronounced: Bagna Cauda and it's a typical Piemontese Winter dish. It's prepared with anchovies, garlic and oil; slowly boiled for hours is served boiling with winter vegetables. It tastes unique especially this one cooked, another time by Ugo Fontanone of "La Taverna di Fra Fiusch" -- Another good reason to visit Torino ;-)
Quattro stagioni in Piemonte.

Now I'm hungry! Very well presented, although I'd be afraid that I'd knock that plate off the table it is so big!

The presentation is wonderful. I look forward to visiting Torino in the next year or so. Perhaps I can sample all four seasons during a short visit. I could say I'd spent a year in Torino! -:))
