Oh, so that's where all the Olympic awarding took place, I watched the Torino games on TV and I was so amazed at the beauty of the city...(a great photo, is that pattern done by lights? or is it etched onto the floor?)

That's a wonderful photo. I wasn't sure to begin with if it was tiles or projected light - I presume it's projected light patterns you see on the floor?

@Jackie and B.C. yes it's the light is projected on the floor. IF you enlarge the photo you can see each projector at top between the two arches.
