La Consolata 1

From the church to a cafe. La Consolata is another work by Guarino Guarini like the Cathedral and the church of San Lorenzo. Honestly speaking just to see Barocco Piemontese and Guarini's work Torino worth to be visited. Last but not the least this church is situated in this small place where was born il Bicerin.... All to taste ! --- More to come.

--- Continua. --- circa i collegamenti cfr. l'edizione inglese.

Enormous columns! The socializing in the cafe in the background looks pretty appealing.

We have some sidewalk cafes and restaurants, but they are more likely to look at a busy street or parking lot than a cathedral. My wife and I have never been to the north west of Italy but photos like this are very persuasive. Now, if the exchange rate would improve a bit...

The camera tile makes this much more interesting than straight up and down. There are a few recent CDPB posts with this effective technique and I notices that they are all rotated clockwise. Are you right handed?

Fabrizio, I know I mentioned this before...and I'll say it again. You have the best night photographs. The colors are always so amazing.

This is an amazing shot. The columns frame the bar scene in the middle. Very nicely done.

Honestly speaking to read your comments I feel flattered and afraid to post new photo !

@ Strangetastes, funny is that I'm left handed :-) Usually I take photo straight up and down when image requires it (like this one and portraits). By the way on photoblogs size of the photo is bigger when vertical so I prefer "to normalize" photos in only one way.

About this photo I turned it a bit on right (clockwise) because the first column was deformed by wide-angle. Turning on right and crop it came out a bit better.

I hope to have replied to your question (understanding it), if not, *please* don't hesitate to contact me, I am really happy each time I have a chance to talk about photos :-)) --- Thank you very very much.

@ Fénix and Ming, thank you very much indeed !!!!
